With the busy holiday season in full force, many families will take to the roads on various trips to visit loved ones around the country. An article in The Clanton Advertiser advises drivers to slow down and take extra precautions to stay safe on the roads and avoid accidents over the next couple of weeks.
According to the article, The Alabama Department of Public Safety predicts 14 travel-related deaths on Alabama’s roadways during the Christmas holiday.
Some recommended tips include:

Have a designated driver or call a cab.
Avoid cell phone use while driving.
