A plague of motor vehicle accident deaths has plagued one Alabama family, according to a story today in the Press-Register.
A traffic accident Sunday that left a 20-year-old man dead was the third traffic death for his family over the past few years. The Sunday accident occurred on Alabama 59 in Monroe County when the man’s Jeep Cherokee ran off the road and overturned, throwing him from the vehicle. He was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the police report.
Just last year, the victim’s 18-year-old sister died in a crash in Baldwin County, and in 2001 their mother died at age 40 in a motor vehicle accident.
