The woman was driving on Baldwin County 55 at about 5:45 a.m., when her car crashed into another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle was injured in the accident. Both drivers were reportedly wearing seatbelts, and the cause of the accident is under investigation. Authorities say they do not know which vehicle was not in its lane at the time of the crash.

It may be a case of one of the drivers dozing at the wheel, but this is not confirmed.
