I came across this article this morning and wanted to show my support for James Davis, a resident of Stevenson, Alabama who apparently is being forced by city officials to disinter his wife who happens to be buried outside their log home.

I think it is deplorable that with all of the problems we face in Alabama with education funding, unemployment, and crime, that the location of Patsy Ruth Davis remains is an issue that our city officials feel the need to stick their nose into. Despite the county health department having no problems with the residential burial, the city sued Mr. Davis to have his wife's remains moved to a licensed cemetery.

If the city's actions infuriate you as much as they do me, please feel contact city hall in Stevenson, Alabama and ask to speak to city council members and let them know that you don't want your tax dollars being spent bothering a 73 year old man.

The city of Stevenson's phone number is 1-256-437-3000, please ask to speak to City Council members.
