The RC2 Corporation is recalling over 1.5 million wooden train toys and accessories from the “Thomas and Friends” series because the paint the product is decorated with contains lead.
Many young children have the habit of putting their toys in their mouths. Lead happens to be toxic if ingested by young children.
The front of the packaging will have a logo on the upper left hand corner that says “Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway” and the manufacturing code is on the bottom of the product or inside the battery cover. Toys with codes “WJ” and “AZ” are not a part of the recall.
If you or your children have been injured due to lead in the Thomas and Friends toys you may want to contact an attorney by filling out the form on the right.
