As the Gulf Coast is about to prepare for the worst unnatural disaster since the Exxon Valdez, the question I am asking myself, and Im sure many are asking themselves, is "How can I help?"

Linked below are the numbers on how to volunteer to help with the massive clean up that is about to take place in an effort to save our Gulf Coast.

For Mississippi residents

Please call 1.866.448.5816. We anticipate there will be an ongoning need for volunteers in the environmental cleanup effort. If you want to register your desire to help and receive updates, visit Volunteer Mississippi. For up-to-date information about the spill, please visit the official Deep Water Horizon Response website.

For Louisiana Residents:

These numbers have now been set up.

To report oiled or injured wildlife, please call 1-866-557-1401.

To discuss spill related damage claims, please call 1-800-440-0858.

To report oil on land, or for general Community and Volunteer Information, please call 1-866-448-5816

For Alabama Residents:

People interested in volunteering in Alabama can call the Alabama Coastal Foundation at 251-990-6002; the Mobile Bay National Estuary Program at 251-431-6409; or Mobile Baykeeper at 251-433-4229.
